Personal Information & Credit Card Security
Palm Wonders understand that some of our customers may be nervous about putting their credit card information into a website order form.
We understand that many people are still just now making their first purchases online and are still a little nervous about using their credit cards on the web. These days, online payment processors have advanced to the point that they are actually more secure than many other forms of payment.
In many ways, ordering online is actually a safer method of payment than giving out the information on the phone, on a mail-in stub, or at the store where an actual human is going to have access to your credit card information. With a secure online form, a human will not have access to your credit card information, only the merchant bank.
Rest assured, you can shop with total peace of mind at Palm Wonders online shop.
Our website uses SSL technology from Rapid SSL. From the moment you register or log-in, all your personal information is kept secure and confidential. Only Palm Wonders staff have access to your personal information such as name and address for fulfillment purposes (postage & packaging).
Our merchant account, which you are redirected to temporarily during check-out, uses SSL technology to protect your credit card information from being viewed by any third parties. Moreover, Palm Wonders' staff do not have access to any credit card information that you input for the order. Only the bank processes this information.
We use the National Commercial Bank NCB (Alahli Bank) to process our orders. Alahli Bank is one of the largest banks in Saudi Arabia. Its payment gateway, AlahliePay, is the best and most secure online credit card processing system in Saudi Arabia. It is VISA 3D Secure and MasterCard SecureCode certified. AlahliePay has an outstanding reputation and security has never been a problem.
You'll notice that when you get to a page where you have to submit any personal information or your card numbers, the beginning of the website address is set to https (the letter S stands for secure) and a padlock symbol appears in your web browser window. That indicates that you are on a secure page and the information cannot be viewed or found by a third party. You can click on the padlock symbol to view the SSL certificate and level of security. Keep that in mind on any websites where you are using your credit card. Always look for the https at the beginning of the website address and the padlock symbol in your browser window on the actual page where the card information is requested.
